Mr. Peacock

"Invited by Harald Szeemann to the XLIX Venice Biennale (2001) and aware of the sycophantic attention lavished by the art establishment during the opening parties, he planned a 'live' work that didn't require his presence entitled The Ambassador. Mr. Peacock (a real bird) occupied a hotel room and was assigned a keeper to attend the Biennale's opening festivities."

Mu Chi went to look at the wall.
It was a beautiful wall...
The pure white plaster was as smooth as porcelain.
It stretched without a break, a hole, a window, or a door to mar it for one hundred feet.
And it was as high as a very tall pine tree.
Mu Chi caught his breath....A wall to dream of!
