It's Christmas Time/Happy New Year To You!

It's Christmas Time/Happy New Year to You! by The Qualities, Satur(n) Records, 1956(?)

This is a rare and messed up vocal/doo-wop record produced by Sun Ra and Alton Abraham. Sun Ra plays harmonium. Vocalists are unidentified.

I tried to transfer it, but my efforts failed. However, you can listen to the a-side here.
Happy Holidays to all. I'm going to try to take a break from posting until the new year.

Howard Finster: The Night Before Christmas/This Wicked World

(endpapers, illustration details, and photo of Howard Finster from) The Night Before Christmas by Clement C. Moore, illustrated by Howard Finster, Longstreet Press, 1998.
Along with Moore's original text, Finster has bordered each page with his own handwritten messages: "THE FURTHER YOU PUSH GOD BACK THE WORSE IT WILL GET"
also here at Curious Pages (with entertaining commentary)
