Balla tools
"Brushes carved by Balla. The horse-hair and pig bristles were supplied by people with whom Balla had made friends while on painting excursions in the Roman countryside. / Balla liked to construct his own tools, which he then used in making sculpture, furniture, picture frames, and stretchers. / A paint box built by Balla."
