Christ! I've really gotta make a trip out there before you buy every good book that exists!

I nearly bought a copy of the String Figures book from Amazon after reading your yoyo post. Are the images any good?

Hi Walter,
Let me know if you ever really do plan to come out. Hard for me to recommend this place, but...
Until then, my shelves can't hold all this stuff, if there's something you really must have.

Hi Martin,
The only photos of string figures in the book can be seen at AAPC (linked from my post).
Otherwise, it's heavily illustrated with diagrams. Still a nice book.

If you haven't seen it, check out James R. Murphy's site (found through AAPC)
